So you want to win an award? There are a few awards that I give out, you may submit for all of them (if you want to), or you may just submit for some. All you have to do is follow the directions on each page and you're set! Whew! The ET's Competitions site was one of my largest projects on the internet! I have mentioned that I give out a few awards, but it turned out to be two only!

Awards are usually given out as an encouragement to a person's effort on a particular subject. Here I give out awards which recognise one's knowledge, and web site design.

I apologize to everyone but no longer have the time to pick out award winners. Past winners names and site links will remain on this page, but awards are no longer given out personally :) If you think your site deserves an award, please feel free to copy one of the awards below and place it on your site. This customised award was awarded to various people who participated in the "2 Facts of the Month" competition back in 1997. Winners receive the award on the left, along with their name written on it to make it their own unique award.

Submission Criteria:
- submit a world fact and make it sound interesting
- the more unusual the better

March 1997:
Mahoney Madness - The first toilet ever seen on television was on "Leave It To Beaver".
Lori Paton - Sydney is in Australia and I live there!

April 1997:
Seventh Dream - There are 6 time zones in America.
Joseph Baker - There is one race of people on the Earth, and they are the Human Race.

May 1997:
Kyriacos Knofou - The Flags of three nations have something unique about them: 1. Cyprus' flag has a map of the country on it 2. Nepal's flag is not rectangular (two triangles) 3. Libya's flag is only one colour (green)
Laurel Mott - Christopher Columbus discovered America!!!!

Due to the vast amount of entries and school work pressure, this competition officially closed on June 1997. Sorry for any inconvenience.

This award was awarded to various people who submitted their sites for review. This award is given out for web site excellence in web site design. Winners receive the award on the left.

Submission Criteria:
- site must be G or PG rated
- have an appealing design
- be well organised, elegant, interactive
- please visitors' eyes (do text and background colours match?)
- create this "WOW" feeling (best if you can)
- have correct spelling and grammar
- less than 10 expired or broken links
- have some content in it
- I have to like it! =P
